So I'm officially 1 month post op today my pain is pretty much gone at this point. However for almost the past 2 weeks my weight has been bouncing back and forth between 279&281lbs I have seen alot of people say there is no such as a stall this early on so I'm just wondering what It could be and what I have to do to change it.I'm really good at drinking the 64oz of Water per day the only thing I struggle with is those nasty Protein Shakes they make me feel nauseous.I drink the premier ones they tasted so much better before surgery...but anywho any advice is appreciated.

You were lied to. The three weeks stall is infamous.

What can you do? Be patient. That's it.

Anyone who says that is a liar or a fool (or some combination of the two).

I'm one month today and have been seeing a VERY incremental loss over the past two weeks (<5lbs over 2 weeks), a lot of little up-and-down flutters. Annoying but not the end of the world - I'm not going to worry until my surgeon starts worrying.

Remember ,you have put your body through a lot. It is spending a lot of time trying to figure out what the hell you did to it. You will start to lose again. Give it time to sort out what is going on.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
