Any April 2018 Sleevers?!?!

Hey guys! I’m having surgery in two weeks!! Looking for anyone have surgery in April that would want to maybe chat and keep in touch or share suggestions. I have my pre op and post op diets but would love to know what kind of recipes you all are planning to try or what protein supplements everyone is planning to have. Also anyone have to drink Gatorade right before surgery? I thought that was wierd.

anyone know what vitamins we should have after surgery?? I’ve been waiting to hear back from my nutritionist because I don’t meet with her till after surgery but I want to know ahead of time so I can start buying some.

thanks!

Yesterday I was sleepy most of the day but today I am feeling good, anxious to get started with a workout plan. I don't do well when I am bored thats why I came in to work today.

I've been at work since Tuesday, I thought we weren't allowed to work out yet.

yes they told us in the hospital before we left that we could add in some protein water, only getting in the 20g but thats a bonus since i wasnt expecting that til second week.are u adhering to the driving for 1 wk?

No workouts yet giving myself a few weeks of recovery. Walking is minimal right now and not picking up anything heavy. I am just anxious to get started with them once the surgery wounds are healed up.

No I am driving myself already, Probably not advised but I don't like to be dependent on others.

its a Risk but to each there own I guess.

Need recommendations on vitamins as I haven't bought anything yet. Any info?

Most people on here Celebrate, you can order from Bariatric Pals Store on here. Also Amazon but why give Mega-opolosis more money? Alex Brecher and Bariatric Pal look out for our best interests and he doesn't handle anything that isn't in our best interests![emoji12]

Finally came home today. Where my drainage tube is, it hurts. Whenever I drink, I feel bubbly and have to burp. I'm sipping fluids. I did drink my protein shake kinda fast and my stomach hates me now. I haven't thrown up but I get nauseous here and there

VSG on 4/4. Having difficulty getting water ok N because my surgeon wants it plain.. Nothing added.iam feeling good.i still have head hunger. I need to figure that out.

Hi everybody, I just had my sleeve surgery three days ago on April 4. Recovery has been pretty good so far - only one night in the hospital and not much gas pain. Oddly, I'm 2 pounds heavier than on the morning of surgery, but I'm attributing that to the tons of IV fluids I got in the hospital so I'm not too worried. I'm trying to keep well-hydrated and am allowed to start diluted protein shakes today. Yippee.

It’s a slow slow process keep sipping and you get there, keep the water close at all times to keep it going down.

Yesterday I had the same issue couldn’t get thin crust Pizza out of my mind lol when I have moments of weakness I stand on the scale and drink my water and enjoy seeing that number go down!

Stay strong and stay focused!

Lucky you they want me on clears for 7-10days no protein of any kind yet.

Personal question but how long after surgery before anyone gets #2 out again? I haven’t had any urges to go besides some gas and wondering if this is normal?

I am down 10lbs since surgery average weight loss -3lbs per day I think I am putting down 350-400 calories in the day.
