Any April 2018 Sleevers?!?!

Hey guys! I’m having surgery in two weeks!! Looking for anyone have surgery in April that would want to maybe chat and keep in touch or share suggestions. I have my pre op and post op diets but would love to know what kind of recipes you all are planning to try or what protein supplements everyone is planning to have. Also anyone have to drink Gatorade right before surgery? I thought that was wierd.

anyone know what vitamins we should have after surgery?? I’ve been waiting to hear back from my nutritionist because I don’t meet with her till after surgery but I want to know ahead of time so I can start buying some.

thanks!

I had my sleeve on 4/16/18. My start weight was 270. I am down 20 pounds so far with 2 stalls lasting a week n a half long. Everyone is different. Take ur time and I'm learning to be patient. The weight will fall off. Try increasing liquid intake such as water and protein...that's what I do once I hit a stall. I was hoping for better results by this time, but I'm ok...my body went through a drastic change and has to catch up. The doctor seems to think I'm doing well so I'm not worried.

I was sleeved on 4/27, I am in a vicious stall. Only 25 pounds so far and most of that was in the first two weeks. I am guessing it is because I am still under 600 calories, but I am still on two Protein Drinks a day and 3 oz of soft Protein so there is no way really to increase calories yet. Just has to wait it out, but it is hard to go through all of this and not see the results.

I hit my first stall basically at my 1 week post op. The needle really didn’t move again (except for the same lb) until just shy of my 4 week when I dropped 4 all at once. At this point I’m actually still eating mostly soft foods but have started branching out to “real” foods.

I’ve also stopped weighing myself daily. While I’m not exactly on the same day I’m trying to limit myself to every few days as I’m needing some sort of feedback as I figure this out.
