The Gym has been a big one.
Gaming, although this was more a great distraction POST op.
I like Poker... I mean Poke Her... that's a great stress reliever :D

Pretty much anything that will occupy your time and take your mind off your stresses is going to be good.

Right now, because of some crazy hormonal changes due to the fat loss, my body still trying to figure **** out, back issues that I didn't know I had because the fat was masking the issues, work stress, money stress, stress about stress.... it's been rough, I pretty much just work on getting through each minute / hour. Not fun times on this side of the screen.

Unfortunately for me “stress” is what got me in trouble with my weight. I have been a stress eater for the last 5 plus years. I am taking notes as I read this thread since I can not afford to handle stress as I have done in the past. I am hoping once I get enough weight off me so hat I can move again I will likely take up weight lifting or some other physical activity to help burn away stress.

It's great to see that you're actively seeking ways to relieve stress in healthier ways. Taking notes from this thread is a fantastic idea! Remember, small steps can make a big difference. Once you feel comfortable and confident, incorporating physical activities like weightlifting or any other form of exercise can be an excellent way to manage stress and improve overall well-being.If you ever feel overwhelmed or need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to reach out to a depression hotline... They can provide support, resources, and a listening ear during challenging times. You're making positive changes, and I believe in your ability to overcome these challenges.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
