Hello all,

It seems that I have come to a plateau and would like some advice and or words of encouragement so that I can get back on track. I had lower limb surgery in December which has caused me to be less active in my daily life activity. I know this is what has caused my weight loss to stop and I’m confident I’ve gained ~3 to 5lbs. I don’t want to lose hope and I want to continue my weight loss progress successfully. If anyone has any advice on how to get back on track it would truly be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hang in there! Stalls are normal for everyone. For me with the less activity, I would keep my Protein up but lower my calories. Actually I would call the nutritionist on my bypass team and ask for ideas. Remember this gastric bypass aid is for learning a new lifestyle. Its not an overnight thing. I had my gbs two years ago and I still have 30 lbs to reach goal weight. Hang in there Babe!

Hello Valerie, thank you so much for your kind words! I have been keeping a low calorie count, but I have not been consuming as much Protein as I should. I wish you the best of luck on the rest of your journey...Xo

Protein, call the dr and do some new arm upper body work outs if you can of course. Pinterest has some great ideas on how to get your heart pumping even while sitting. I know it can be hard and it might even feel like damn i made a step forward and bam 15 steps back, but remember you can do this every day that you stay on track is a victory and every time you make a mistake is an opportunity to change you got this!!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
