Anyone that started around 300 want to share your stats?

Just wondering if anyone wanted to share what they lost after surgery if they started out around 300. Interested to know what the norm might be for first week after surgery, first month, etc.

Thanks

385 hw and sleeved 11/07/17 down 91 pounds. And 33 inches.

I just did a screen grab of the progress tracker from my profile. My weight loss slowed down big time by last July and has stayed slow, but I've been fine with it. I have a ways to go but have been happy with where I'm at.

I was 350ish at my heaviest. 336 at the start of the 2 week diet. 318 the day of surgery (Jan 25, 2017).

No hunger the first month although I was so tired of liquids and soft foods. Was pretty run down with low energy the first few weeks. After the first month things got better quickly and really has been smooth sailing since then.

I’m a 37 year old female. My highest weight was 350, then I got down to 303 on my own before the 10 day pre op diet. I lost 16 pounds on the 10 day diet, so I was 287 on the day of my surgery. Now I’m seven months out from surgery and weigh 172, so I’m actually a few pounds below my goal weight of 175, and I’m now slowly starting to ease into a maintenance phase.

That is insane! Do you mind sharing tips on how you lost so much? Did you have complications or are you a fast loser? I want to fire up my weight loss.
I will be 6 months post op on the 14th of feb. I started at 297...day of surgery I was 286.4... first month I lost 27 pounds. I am currently 232...so overall weightloss 62 lbs, 54 since surgery.

I started at 336.8, got to 310.6 via the pre-op diet, and have lost 92.4 since surgery, for a current weight of 218.2.

I've slowed down lately as well, but I'm down to a size L men's shirt and size 36 pants, so I can't really complain too much.

hey. Question

Have you lost 91 pounds since surgery date or 91 pounds including the preop diet?

I track everything religiously. The doctor’s recommendation for me was between 64 and 76 grams of protein every day, and no more than 130 carbs, so I make sure to follow that strictly. They didn’t have me counting calories but I did anyway, and for the first two months I was under 800 calories, then by four months I was up to around 900 or 1,000 calories, and I continued to eat under 1,200 until I reached 175 pounds, which was my goal. Now I eat between 1,400 and 1,500 and the weight loss has slowed down quite a bit. I also drink a lot of water or crystal light, and I walk quite a bit.

Here's my breakdown so far! I started my pre-op liquid diet at 303.7. I weighed 262.2 today. Surgery on 12/13/2017.

Pre-Op: 13.4 lbs

Week 1: 10.3 lbs

Week 2: 3 lbs

Week 3: 4 lbs

Week 4: 3.2 lbs

Week 5: 3 lbs

Week 6: 0.3 lbs

Week 7: 4.9 lbs

I'm a 34 year old female and 5'9".

Highest weight was 301, lost 30 pounds on pre-op and went into surgery at 271. I'm now 184-186 so I've lost 85-87 pounds since surgery 12/30/16. My goal is 175 lbs.

Its right around the corner and little motivation doesn't hurt! You'll be right there with the surgery weight or close to it. I hope seeing all these awesome numbers has you pumped up! WE DESERVE THIS!

HW: 325

SW: 303 (12/20/17)

Current: 262

Down 41 pounds in a little over 6 weeks. Some weeks I loose nothing, some weeks its 10 lbs. All in all, I have no complaints.

I'm 6 months out today! My highest weight was 357. On the day of surgery it was 317. Today it's 227. At surgery I wore a size 26-28; today it's 18-20.

AND everyone is different!!

I was 308 at surgery.

289 (-21) at 30 days post op

And from there out, lost 14, 11, 9, 8, 7, & 7 more pounds each month. I completely stopped losing at 6 months and FOUGHT HARD to maintain, while trying to keep losing.

I'm now back UP 60lbs.

Don't ever get lax. It will own you. I'm starting all over again, pretty much.

My stats are in my Signature. I was 309 a year ago. First month loss a pound or two a day, then 5 to 9 pounds after.

HW 309

SW. 274

CW. 217

GW 190

Surgery 09/25/17

Started at 304 got down to 283 before sleeve on 8 August. Lost fast a beginning around 30 pounds first month, then it slowed down, nearly 6 months later I have lost 75 pounds. Now 229 and losing on average 2 pounds a week. Sometimes the scales don’t move but the tape measure does, I have gone down more that 5 dress sizes. I used to dread stalls, drove me mad in the beginning now I just follow the pattern and wait for it to pass. Its years since I have been so happy within myself. I feel normal, wear wonderful clothes and am so much healthier.

I want to lose more, and stick religiously to proteins and very few carbs, I struggle with water and never quite make it. However, if I didn’t lose another pound I would still be so much happier than this time last year.
