  4. My Doctor days I am doing great and I feel like I am doing great mentally and physically, but sometimes I just fear that I will fail and gain all the weight back a year or teo from now. Especially when reading post of people that have. I know it is irrational to think this especially when I am giving everything I can into this lifestyle. Anyone else know what I am talking about. HW 309 SW. 274 CW. 217 GW 190 Surgery 09/25/17
  5. In the early stages Milk of Magnesia is your friend. It gets a lot easier when you take in more water and expand your diet. HW 309 SW. 274 CW. 217 GW 190 Surgery 09/25/17
  6. Not a dumb question. They all go in the same cup or I do my best to guesstimate. For Protein like solid chicken I used to weigh it, now I can eyeball to within a ounce. For me I always eat the protein first then move onto veggies, and maybe a spoonful of carbs, like corn. I know when I am full when I feel a pressure in the middle of my chest. I call it my popup timer. So for loose food I use a measuring cup. For solid food I use a scale when at home. I get about 4 to 5 oz depending on how solid. HW 309 SW. 274 CW. 217 GW 190 Surgery 09/25/17
  7. I eat roughly a half cup, so I still use one once in a while a collapsible measuring 1/2 cup. Useful at big eating events like buffets and family gatherings HW 309 SW. 274 CW. 217 GW 190 Surgery 09/25/17

  10. No magical reset, but your progress is not bad. It slows down quite a bit after the first month of two. What worked for me as I get the cravings is talking about it and sticking to a habit with what I eat. Ohh and always eat your protein first. HW 309 SW. 274 CW. 217 GW 190 Surgery 09/25/17
  11. Here is a graph HW 309 SW. 274 CW. 217 GW 190 Surgery 09/25/17
  12. My stats are in my Signature. I was 309 a year ago. First month loss a pound or two a day, then 5 to 9 pounds after. HW 309 SW. 274 CW. 217 GW 190 Surgery 09/25/17
  13. Forgot to add that eating out does get better. Especially after the first couple months HW 309 SW. 274 CW. 217 GW 190 Surgery 09/25/17
  14. I was just thinking about this. I am celebrating a birthday and super bowl this weekend. No alcohol and no pigging out. I am getting through it by going to one of my safe resturants for my Birthday and cooking a healthy meal for tonight. For a cake I got the smallest carvel cake for my family to split.

  17. I mixed protein powder in my crystal light, after I got home.
  18. Same thing happened to me until thanksgiving. With the added calories I started losing again, however a pound or 2 a week, not a pound a day like before.
  19. Sleeve patients can dump, it is not as frequent as bypass patients, but any nurse or doctor will tell you that it could happen.

  21. Did the doc give you meds for the acid reflux, I had a month of meds for that when I went home. I felt the same way about how much I ate at 2 weeks but you will eat less when you get on more solid meals. I still eat every 2 hours but I only eat 1/2 cup at a time. Liquids go right through you. For #2 at your stage you will be pooping like a deer since your not eating much substance. Ask your doctor but you should be able to have Mirlax
