Congrats on your January date....and the head hunger was the first step of the mental preparation that we will continue to need. Today is surgery day and I made it! With this process, there is definitely a sense of great accomplishment despite the gas pain of course and discomfort lol....let’s remind ourselves of the reason we are doing this....to create a balanced, healthy life full of mountains we are set to climb and conquer. With Aetna, I️ chose the 3 month multi-disciplinary regimen with my surgeon and nutritionist. I️ just couldn’t have a net gain during that time. They allow 15 business days to respond for approval but my precert was started 10/20 and got approved 11/1....so that was 8 business days. My surgery date is 12/7. Best of wishes to you all!!!

Congratulations! I️ felt the same way and having surgery 12/7. I️ was so excited that I️ screamed out loud while on the phone with my insurance rep. She probably thought I️ was crazy, but we both laughed lol

Hey everyone! I'm hoping to receive my actual surgery date sometime next week but my surgeon says it should be in mid August. Being that I'm still in the pre-op phase, I've been wondering about vitamins for hair. I've watched so many YouTube videos on people that experienced hair loss as a side effect. Even though this doesn't happen for everyone, I would like to be proactive. Does anyone have suggestions for a good brand of hair vitamins to start beforehand JUST IN CASE??
