  3. Hello there Lovely Ladies and Gents ! Just checking in with the August Sleevers, it's been 5 WHOLE MONTHS?! Can you believe this, time has pretty much flown by! I wanted to know how everyone is managing and encouraging everyone to share their experiences. REMEMBER* No judgement and to each their own, we should all know as adults something you see work for someone else might not work for you and VICE VERSA ! I'm excited to hear of everyones stories -LadyCharizar

  6. Hasn't been moving ever since i came out the hospital so two weeks or so, I eat usually twice or three times a day. I drink more than I eat though, water alone makes me nauseous most of the time and I can't tolerate fake sugar; so I heavily dilute juice with water and ice and drink it.
  7. Hey Guys, I had my surgery August 7th so it's been a month and two weeks so far. Within two weeks of my surgery I had lost 45 pounds but I had to get readmitted because of severe dehydration & other issues with tolerating protein (etc). Now I'm at 370 pounds and the scale usually fluctuates, but it's not moving! I am able to eat food and I'm making healthier choices, I don't work out yet but I'm planning on hitting the gym. I'm wondering maybe it's what I'm eating why I'm not losing anything ? HELP PLEASE.

  16. Hellooo, I just wanted to pass on some POSITIVE energy to everyone struggling and too scared to mention it on this app or to anyone who just needs POSITIVE feedback. It's OK to mess up and it's OK to stall, whether you believe in yourself or not I believe we'll all get to where we want to be !

  18. Potassium you say ? Hmmm okay maybe at my check up I'll have blood work drawn.
  19. I think that's what I'll do too because I'm not getting much protein now, I'll try the eggs and ricotta bake next week !
  20. Oh my goodness, I tried milk the chocolate Fairfield one and immediately my body was like nope no thanks so I'll probably stick to bone broth.
  21. Ah okay but you think it'll eventually go away the shortness of breath & everything once I reach the purée stages ?
  22. Hey Guys I'm almost 2 weeks post op, and let me tell you it's been a journey already. I still have a horrible time taking any medication let alone my vitamins & protein ? Ha ! Yeah it isn't happening. I'm super weak and I'm starting to feel like I'm bruising like certain spots on my body hurt as well as the shortness of breath, I could be washing dishes and I get winded. I did a CT Scan and thank god no blood clots, but at this point I don't know what to do.
  23. Hey Guys, so I was looking for some app suggestions like what I should download that's great for bariatric patients. Like a calendar app or whatever lol let me know please !!
  24. Well I can say I'm feeling a lot better but not 100% I still have the gas issue and nausea now but I'm taking all my meds so I should be ok. My stomach is so painful b/c of the incisions but I'm hoping they heal, I'm also struggling with protein! Shame on me but I haven't had any yet, I'm starting tomorrow; my body doesn't tolerate whey so I'm finding ways around that. I lost 13 pounds so that happened lol but How're you ??!
  25. I'm home now guys, been home since yesterday. Dealing w| a lot of nausea and gas. I slept ok last night, my incisions are only painful on my right side so I'm not sure about that. I'm trying to drink more but I'm not even thirsty, how're you guys holding up?
