Snow, snow and more snow

Redmaxx

Recommended Posts

So Saturday we got about 4 - 5 inches of snow in Detroit. Today we are supposed to get another 4 - 6 inches. I need to retire and move South for the winters. LOL. Everyone be safe shoveling (if you live in an area that gets snow) and try to stay warm (I know that it is hard to do after WLS).

After I lost my fat, which is an excellent insulator, I became more sensitive to the snow. I found that hand warmers were really helpful when I went out and shoveled the snow.

Stay safe!!! Better snow than poo. Right? :D My mom used to say an optimist could be a room with a shovel and pile of poo and be happy all day cuz with all that poo, there had to be a pony in there somewhere right? :D ha!

The sky here is looking like snow coming, we have a couple inches and another inch coming today - by Monday up to 40° - I will try to blow that warm air a little north to Detroit if I can! 🌡

So it looks like we got about 8 inches of snow yesterday/last night. They are saying another 1 inch or so tomorrow. I am hoping to get my Christmas shopping done tomorrow so I hope it holds to an inch or less.

I'd love to have snow for Christmas.

It's 40 degree C (105 F) today and its still only December, it usually gets hotter in Feb / March ... urgggh.

Take care my Northern Hemisphere friends.

Happy New Year Redmaxx. Its +1 degree in Ohio and I'm watching the Rose Parade. Next summer when it's warm in the Midwest we'll forget how miserable winter can be. We will be in sundresses and shorts in a smaller size and basking in the sunlight. Then our AussieGal friend will,be having her winter instead of us. Best to you and yours.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
