Intro time: who's new to the group, who's pre-op, & who just recently made it to the loser's bench?

1) welcome!!!!

2) congrats on starting your process and your

journey (the starting line may seem overwhelming, but the finish line feels amazing and you all WILL make it to the finish line)

3) wishing each and every one of you continued and long term success!!! You got this, even when you think you don't, you really do.

4) if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask

Hi all just joined and I am excited to be here. I am pre op just started the process

I’m pre-Preop. I just signed up for a seminar to learn more about the different surgical options (I’m pretty sure I’ll opt for bypass, but Im willing to learn more) and start the process. Unfortunately, I won’t get a referral until after 3 January (I can’t get in before then.)

I’m 52, have six great kids, 4 awesome grandkids, and in July 2016 I decided to end my marriage of 31 years. This is another step on my my journey to get my life back!

I just joined yesterday. I'm pre op, my surgery is set for Dec 29th. Only 2 more weeks. Im very excited. My 7 day liquid diet starts on the 21st which im nervous about since it will be over Christmas.

Hang in there....it does go by pretty fast.... Hard to believe mine is only 9 days away now... You got this!!!

I am just about on the same track as you. Just finished my 2nd nutrition class and making appointments for the rest. I am not very patient though, I know I have to wait until May but I would love to go sooner.

I hear you, I'd love for it to happen sooner but every appointment brings you closer. Best wishes!
