What is on your menu for Thanksgiving Holiday Meal? Be honest.

Me? I will keep my plate to saucer size and have samples.

I'm going to stick to my plan. Protein first, so maybe a couple ounces of moist turkey, and then vegetables. If room, maybe a tablespoon of mashed potatoes. My pouch is too restrictive to indulge in a bunch of crap, so I'll just stay the course and enjoy the people and conversation at the table rather than the heaping plate in front of me.

Ground Turkey (first), Dressing, Mashed Potatoes (my mom makes the best), cauliflower mac & cheese, a bite of real baked mac & cheese, and a tablespoon of cranberry sauce (the can shaped kind) --- all sample portions of course. I've already logged the food into MyFitnessPal and I'm staying under the limits set for me by my NUT. It's just my parents and I for this T-giving, so they're up for the modifications. For Breakfast though, I'm having some minced ham and soft-scrambled eggs. I'm so happy my stomach is taking to well minced/pureed/soft foods. :)

Breakfast i think I'll have a caramel Protein Shake. For the main dinner I'm going all out.....Cream of mushroom Soup. Then later when I let all that settle I may splurge and have a sugar free vanilla pudding with nutmeg spice! Getting crazy up in my house!! Happy Turkery day to those who are NOT on full liquids [emoji849]

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
