Final pant/dress size?

I know, I know, the sizes shouldn't matter, really. But I'm curious where everyone who has gotten to goal has rounded out, size-wise, compared to where you started.

I started at a size 28 and am 3 months post-op. I've lost around 78 lbs. and am down to a size 18; these size 18s are starting to get loose. I am astounded constantly by this turn of events because I was definitely not a size 18 at 240 lbs. on the way up! It's so interesting how bariatric bodies are different from normal ones!

So where did you finish up in sizes? At this rate, I may blow my dream 'size 10' out of the water!

I'm two years out and still losing, albeit slowly. I started at 295 lbs and size 32 pants and 4x tops. Today I weigh 165 and wear a size 12 or 14 pants, medium or large tops. I'm built quite stocky to begin with so my top size won't go below medium (I wore a medium at 120 lbs long ago), and the smallest pants I've ever worn were size 10, so I am happy. If I didn't have all that extra skin around my middle I might actually be able to get into those 10's! lol

I'm dreaming of the day I can get into a regular woman's large, and size 14 pants. That sounds perfect to me.

I guess it depends on where we carry our weight also, and if you've given birth might change where weight settles. I was an 18 when I weighed 180 lbs eons ago. I started at a size 24/26 - 3X (at 270)...now at 200 lbs, I'm between an 18-20. 18's are snug, 20/1x is fitting pretty on spot with some things looser. I'm 5'5"/apple now, growing up was hourglass shaped. I'm currently 50. My body shape changed a lot over the years after having kids.
