Buffalo Wild Wings Help

Recommended Posts

So I had surgery 9/26 and I'm on soft food/ puréed....my son plays hockey and after today's game the entire team with families are going to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. I'm not seeing anything on the menu I can order to make it look like I'm eating (I haven't told anyone I had Bypass). Any suggestions?

I have digested everything okay I've tried so far like beef barley Soup, chili, cottage cheese, etc.

Help!

Thanks!!!!!

It's really difficult. When I am in that situation, I try to find the healthiest but I just peeked quickly at the menu. Yikes.

I would probably look for either a grilled chicken sandwich or potentiallly a burger but without the bread and then just eat it with a fork and knife. Sometimes the wraps or sandwiches use grilled chicken rather than deep fried but I couldn't tell here. If they have a turkey burger, that is a far better choice, again, without the bun.

I had my surgery on that same dat 9/26\2017 and went home 9/27/2017. I am on soft foods started on like soft green Beans and I tried salmon I vaked it in the oven in foil really soft and it went down. i couldnt eat much maybe 2oz. I am suppose to puree but I chewed so much it went down easily. So good luck hopefully you can get something you can digest

I’m pretty sure they have Mac and cheese on the kids menu. Try that.

If they have chili, that might be safe. Protein but soft. Or, eat before and just hang out with everyone. Dining out, especially at the beginning is really really tough. I still make sure I check menus before I go someplace so I can find something to eat.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
