I feel like I can eat too much

Recommended Posts

Cream of Wheat is considered a pudding-thick consistency liquid, and since one bowl of it only has 2 grams of Protein, you won't feel full after eating it.
Only dense protein causes that feeling of fullness and satiety for most sleevers. Cream of Wheat lacks the consistency and protein to cause satiety.

Well, I add Protein Powder to it but I imagine it's still the consistency issue, because it's not the protein per se.

I've wondered if the ability to eat a lot is based on the tube size used in surgery. My surgery was in Mexico, so the smallest tube is used. I'm 17 days out, still zero hunger pain. I had an egg and avocado last night. 1/4 of avocado and 1/2 the egg was all I could consume and that took 20 mins. Drinking Water is no problem. The shakes are because they just taste gross. My yogurt this morning was no problem, but it did take a while to finish.

I didn't think it matters as such the size of bougie as I don't think I have the smallest. But still at 3months half an egg is my limit. No accompaniment s like avocado. Only if I have egg whites I can add something l

I can easily eat two eggs at 6 weeks out. I don't understand why I can eat so much more. I am 6 foot 1
My doctor said my preop stomach was huge.
He had to do a lot of cutting.

At 6'1" your stomach was likely LONGER. The surgery only changes the diameter not length so that accounts for part of it.

Your a man though. I'm a small woman. So not surprising you can eat more than me. My response was for the lady above you.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
