I had my sleeve surgery on June 2 2016, I was 260 and after liver shrinking diet and day of surgery I was 243.When I was 7months out my obygn discovered I had uterus cancer so on Feb 22 2017 I had to get a 6hr cancer surgery and a full hysterectomy. I weighed 182.8 .I am still dealing with menapause and cancer health stuff but I'm so frustrated because I try to eat right, workout and my weight will not go under 170. I'm stuck in the low 70's .I want to reach my 100lbs pound loss or just get out of the obese range. So I don't know if this is because I'm a year out from sleeve or from my health and having to deal with menapause from my cancer.I am grateful for all the weight I lost but I just don't feel like I reached my goal or I'm ever going to reach it because I been same weight forever .

Hang in there and keep making good choices, I know words don't take away the frustration but try to stay focused on how far you've come! You've had a rough year, cut yourself a little slack and the weight will begin dropping again when your body is ready!

I think you have to give yourself some credit! Who knows how cancer surgery would have gone if you kept all that weight on...or how the recovery from cancer would have gone. Menopause makes it really hard to lose weight - so it was wise (in hind sight) to have the surgery before they found your cancer.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
