1 month out, stomach pain, nausea.

Recommended Posts

He guys, 1 month out today. Everything has gone as expected. Last night I started with pain and nausea. I can only describe it as that feeling after a night of drinking and vomiting..... just a cramped, twisted up feeling. Spoke with surgeon, didn't seem too concerned, said could even be a stomach bug. Recommended going back on liquids for 2 days. 24 hours and not getting better. Anyone else experience this?

I had similar problems when I was about a month out, have you been introducing new foods? I had a problem with my Vitamins until I found the ones I use now. I used to lay flat on my back when I had the cramping feeling. try to keep hydrated! I know it isn't easy when you feel like crap. Good luck! the issues should pass.

Are you still on liquids or soft food? 1 month out liquid should be your focus. Also it's counter intuitive but increasing your Water will help a lot with nausea. And I agree with changing Vitamin brands. Skip your Vitamins for a few days and see if that's the issue.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
