Hi, I had my surgery May 30th and I had been doing great. I eat around 85 grams of Protein a day and I jog 3 miles a day. I've hit a stall these past two weeks and I am feeling discouraged. Has anyone hit a 3 month stall? Is this normal? If anyone has any advice i'd greatly appreciate it.

I hit a stall 2 months after my surgery for about 3 weeks. I felt the same way, a bit discouraged but I kept on doing what I was doing and didn't change anything until finally the scaled moved for me. I did research and spoke to my surgeon about it. It's just your body trying to get accustomed to the weight loss.

What do you eat along with that 85 grams of Protein? What are your daily calories? Do you track your food with an app? Do you weigh your food.

You shouldn't be stalled so early but also, you are pretty close to goal and a normal BMI so it is going to be slower. The closer you get to goal and a normal BMI the harder it is to lose, and the more closely you have to track

Morning Breakfast I eat two boiled egss, lunch I eat 3 oz of chicken breast with 2 oz of vegetables same thing for dinner. I do weigh my food and I do log my food to an app. I eat around 800 calories a day and i burn around 300 from jogging. I do go see my doctor in a few weeks hopefully I start losing weight again if not I'll ask him what he recommends.

So you are living off 500 net calories a day? That explains your stall. Try increasing your calories. How can you run and not pass out on that low of calories? If I go below 1000 for a day I get light headed.

I will see if I go see the nutritionist. I don't get light headed or anything so I really didn't think nothing of it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
