My boyfriend can now wrap his arms around my waist and each hand can easily grasp the opposite elbow. That's an awesome feeling.

Just love those little NSVs.

You look great AMY and great steady loss! Way to go. Just your eyes look bigger and it's funny but you are like me, you look like you lost weight in your nose too! :whoo: I carry my weight absolutely evenly everywhere...I swear my ear lobes are fatter now! I'm pre banded ...it's encouraging to see your happy face!

I dressed up for halloween and went out dancing...and had a great time...sober. I wouldn't have done one of those things last year at this time, never mind all of them. I love that I am more social now.

Now, my previously 'skinny' jeans are loose.

:whoo:

Hello proper size 12. This is my goal size. Now I just need to lose the muffin top.

MINE TOO!! BUT i WANT TO WAIT until I am at goal to buy more lol

Hell ya, I can wear baggy pants for 10 more pounds too. It is kind of handy not to use the zipper. I feel like a toddler, pulling my pants down without unzipping.

.... which would be ??????

As I tell them, I'm genetically blessed as far as the arms go. I do work out (Group Power barbell class 2x weekly & 1x weekly Cybex routine), but my arm definition comes as much from my Daddy as anthing else! (Unfortunately I also got my mom's big ol' butt.)

Its a glorious 28 degrees celcius in Melbourne today, almost summer, its sunshiny.

First I managed to fake tan my entire body without using $60 worth of St Tropez in one hit - its AMAZING how much longer the bottles last now, at least 5 full body applications more. So I'm glowing brown. And I slipped into a little mini skirt and a shoe string top. There's no part of me that I have to hide, be self conscious about. I dont have to sweat under sleeves and long pants, it just feels soooooo good!

I come from Houston--RAINY! and have had these realll cute black rudder mud boots with bright pink polka dots on them..love them. When I bought them, I cut slits at the top bc my calves were too big to fit in...put them on the other day and wore them half the day until I notice that my jeans were tucked inside of them..and my legs were moving around inside of them..they now come off without stripping back rubber!!!

I was in a hurry the other day, and ran down the street to talk to someone,,ran without realizeing it..YES!!!

I can hike my foot of the back of my tailgate and pull my butt into the truck..no longer is it the sit, roll up to knees and pull up routine for me!!

I live on a hill. I used to walk the 'hell walk' with a friend and not be able to talk while on the upside. Yesterday, my friend couldn't talk on the upside, so I gabbed the whole way.

So today the little thing is that I can walk up this huge hill, and without that extra 98 pounds, it seems like a breeze. :clap2:

My favorite things:

- Not feeling like I need to grab a pillow or coat and hold it in front of my tummy when i sit in a chair or couch

- Having to buy smaller belts and actually use them!!!

- Discovering old cloths in the back of my closet that FALL off of me

- Being in a dressing room and having to request a SMALLER size instead of asking whats the biggest size they carry

- Having to pull up my pants- not because they are so tight they hurt- but because they are falling down

- Feeling my hip bones!!!! (i know it is weird... but it gives me hope that one day I will have a completely flat stomach)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
