When did you really see your appetite diminish?

Recommended Posts

I am a little more than two months post-op with two fills under my belt and I can still eat a normal sized portion. I have noticed that the amount of food I can eat has been greatly reduced, but I have yet to experience resistance or eating two bites of food and feeling full. I'm losing weight, but not as much as I thought I would seeing as my surgery was recent. How long did it take all of you to get to a point where you were eating tiny amounts of food or feeling resistance from the band? For the record, I have an 8cc band and am 5.5 cc filled.

I never did, that's why after 5 years. I had a revision to a sleeve. Now 3 months later I have lost 50 lbs, I'm sure it would be more if I stuck to diet, but I'm really happy with. It.

I wish I could get the sleeve, but my surgeon didn't favor it in my case. I have Celiac Disorder, so the procedure would be too invasive in my case.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
