Sooo tired after eating

Recommended Posts

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I get so tired after eating and I just want to know if this is normal? The yawning starts so quickly after eating and sometimes I have to actually nap. This ok when I'm home but it's an issue at work.

Any comments greatly appreciated

Honestly, this sounds like high blood sugar--or higher blood sugar in response to a meal. You should buy a glucometer and strips and test before eating, then at 1 and 2 hours after a meal to get a picture into what is happening.

Try the "grazing" method. Take a bite of food, then go do something, then come back for another bite.
I used to keep mixed nuts at my desk. In my job, I needed to be away from my desk quite a bit, so I'd take a few nuts and go. Keeping some hidden in the back of your desk drawer could work, too.
I also recommend getting some Trim & Healthy Mama Integral collagen. It has no flavor, is high in Protein & you can put it on or in anything. It's good for your bones , nails & hair, too.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
