I'm 7 weeks post op and I have not lost an ounce since 11 days ago. Are stalls this long normal? What was your longest stall? I've upped my Protein intake, am more active, and nothing is working. I'm getting a little discouraged. Any advice on how to break it?

For the first many months post-op, I would lose 8-10 pounds in as many days and then stall for 10-14 days. Then the cycle would repeat. Just stick to your plan; meet your Protein and Water goals, and the weight will start to come off again.

I was only 2 weeks post-op and started my first stall. It lasted about 2 and 1/2 Weeks...almost 3 and then I started losing again. But during that time I lost inches in my waist because my belt had dropped like five holes. I was so surprised. I had heard that true weight loss really doesn't start till 6 weeks post-op. Or that's what my nutritionalist said. That any weight you lose before this is bonus weight. And you'll probably go through others as your body adjust and heals.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
