You have to get out at some point, and so glad you ended up meeting your friends at Applebee's! No matter where you go, there has to be some choice of food on the menu that you can have. Thankfully, so many places let you substitute!

Semara
I am right along with you.
I am 4 months post op and lost 70 lbs with 15 mire to reach my goal. My weigh loss has slowed down. I stayed the same weight over a week now.
I go to gym 4-5 days a week.
It has done this before and than the scale moves again.
I try to up my Water intake and Protein. I notice that's when the scale moves.

I agree with Larta eat slow enjoy your friends. Don't forget don't eat don't drink anything but then you have to wait 30 minutes after eating sometimes I forget. Im two and a half months post op. I have been to Applebees for celebration with friends. I just eat in moderation had chicken shrimp skillet came with potatoes I asked to not to bring potatoes. I ate portion of chicken took chicken shrimp home. you can only eat so much just take your time just remember to eat slowly and enjoy your friends.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
