Hey everyone! I entering week four today and I am feeling so discouraged! I haven't lost a single pound in 2 weeks..... I was so happy to start soft foods, but can barely eat 2 bites... it hurts to swallow like it's getting caught in my esophagus and I'm chewing 30 times each bite! I don't k ow what is wrong but I'm feeling so depressed from not losing a single pound in 2 weeks... help? [emoji30]

I'm sorry you're discouraged. It's SO COMMON tho. Honestly. I had the famous three week stall. Make sure you're drinking all your Water and let your body heal. This first month is about healing. It WILL come off. Are you tracking your Protein and water ?

Yes I am tracking and getting plenty of water! I have never had a problem with Water, I love it!! I actually wish I could tolerate more! Lol

My Protein however is a little short.. but I can't get any more in!!!

I'm also stalled! [emoji17] I'm at five weeks out and been stalled for two. I've been pretty good at Water and Protein. Need to go back thru logs to check calories but I'm pretty sure I'm within all my parameters. So frustrating [emoji29][emoji29][emoji29]

Google three week stall. Everyone goes through it. Remember that this journey is a marathon and not a sprint. You have to make lifelong changes to be successful long term.

Hang in there.

Don’t worry we’ve all been there!!!! Make sure your not trying to eat too early. Guideline or not if YOUR body isn’t ready for soft foods don’t eat it. Stick with liquids a little longer. Good luck!!! [emoji4]

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
