Yes, complete fluids since Sunday. I am doing good, I am ok w only shakes as I tried to lose the weight on my own w a weight loss program at a hospital (I did not want the surgery so I tried this first. it was expensive and insurance did not reimburse anything). The good thing is it prepared me to only have shakes for a while and my insurance approved me right away with only one meeting with the nutritionist instead of once a month for six months.

I am drinking my Water when I get hungry and that always helps a lot!

How are you doing? When is your surgery?

Just means you're more resolved.. nothing wrong with that.

Good bc I am surprised I am so calm.
I told my doc I will need something to calm me down a littler b4 surgery. I stress out when a needle is involved w things, I am sure Wednesday morning I will be stressed and ready to get everything completed! :-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
