I'm drinking water but not urinating??

Recommended Posts

I had my sleeve done on June 15, 2017 and even though the first 2 weeks were ruff, I'm slowly doing much better. I find myself drinking over 64oz a Water each day and only using the bathroom maybe once or twice. Is the common? Should I call the doctor? Is this serious?

Kidney problems can crop up suddenly. I'd go ahead to an ER and get checked out. If you're dehydrated they can give you some fluids, but they can do a quick blood test to check your kidneys while they're at it.

What color is your urine?

I 2nd going directly to the ER, please don't wait, it's better to find out, kidney function is nothing to take chances on. Good luck and keep us posted.

Well it is 100 degrees here and I am retaining Water. My urine is light in color as always.

The more weight I lost the less I urinate because my bladder has so much more room, it holds a lot more. I urinate for what seems like forever now. Also not diabetic anymore either, far fewer bathroom trips period.

At least 4 bathroom trips a day is a good rule of thumb.. that's really not many! Once when you wake up, once at bedtime, and just twice all day.

Once a day means she wakes up and pees, but doesn't go again until the next morning. That is VERY concerning, no matter how big her bladder is.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
