I'm wondering how many of you just felt weak, I would think after three weeks I'd begin to feel like my old self at some time in the near future. Anyone else having this problem? I don't have pain but I have no appetite or anything, and I am always tired. Is this normal?

Seems half the people feel they can walk miles, other half have no energy for a couple of months. I was one that had no energy until week 6. The most important thing to remember is to get in your Protein, Water and Vitamins. You will start to feel better soon.

I was in the no energy group at times. The first two weeks I has a ton of energy the 3rd week I had none, then at about 5 weeks I had a ton of energy again, and for the past month I have been completely exhausted. It seems to come in waves for me.

I was very fatigued for about 3 weeks post op and still have trouble with walking more than 30mins at a time at 7weeks out. I have energy, but it runs out quickly.

For the 1st few days, I was tired and weak, but once I focused on getting all my liquids, that helped tremendously!! Even though it took 18 months before I could, consistently get in all my Protein, staying hydrated was the trick for me. Now, I drink a gallon or more a day of Water.

If you're getting your liquids, protein & Vitamins, speak to your doctor about the tiredness, they may want to check blood levels of nutrients to make sure you are not deficient.

I just recently had some criticism because I posted my weight loss but I was weak the first day but my nurses advised me to walk after I woke up and I haven't stopped since

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
