Personally I order for bariatricpal store. I received my first order some weeks back and I don't like the chewable ones. I could swallow pills fine after surgery (VSG) but ordered (before surgery) a 60 day supply of the bariatric advantage multi, b12, calcium etc... all chewable or quick melt. Hate the taste. Others don't have a problem with it. Just my opinion. I'm abroad so I couldn't get samples sent to me overseas. Would suggest to order some samples and pick what you like. I didn't think it was a big deal but your going to have to take them daily and after surgery, taste matters. The type of surgery does too as i know some people can't swallow or digest pills after.

Good Morning,

I take the bariatric multi vitamin that is on supply at the hospital that I had surgery so it makes it easy for me and its a one a day pill. That is SUPER easy for me because I take it at 5 am before work and no worries through out the day. :)

I order these from procare it is 30.62 for 2 month supply includes shipping and tax. I have to be honest I haven't tried them yet.. but I know I have to have them. It says for all surgeries including the DS. You will have to take an extra calcium.. get the viactive chews it is like a little treat! I am having the DS on June 5th. I believe a full DS.

If you send me a PM with your email address, I can send you an attachment which lists all the vitamins/minerals for a new DSer (this document is given to us by my surgical team). After that your supplements are dictated by your blood draws.

You can also check out Vitalady's list.
