Shallow Nerves?

Recommended Posts

My sleeve is scheduled for May 15th, and I don't think it's really hit me yet. I feel like I'm just getting ready to go on vacation and not about to change my life. Maybe I'm just living in denial? The only thing I'm nervous about is losing hair and saggy skin. You would think that I would be worried about the surgery itself and the recovery process, but nope, I'm worried about something superficial. Anyone else nervous about "stupid" things?

No, I was terrified of something going wrong during surgery or after, of puking, etc. As for superficial stuff, I worry about losing my boobs and butt. Had my sleeve done May 1st. I bled from one of the blood vessels attached to my spleen. Lost 400ccs of blood. Didn't realize it until surgeon told me. He had to put a stitch in to stop it.

Yes. I was worried about surgery itself. But also have been taking sublingual Biotin for months before surgery and still after. Ice liked at some things for saggy skin as well on Pinterest lol. Nerium Firm looks promising but super expensive. I'm hoping maybe out won't be too bad. I'm afraid to habe plastic surgery. My doctor told me that I will need to have the excess skin from my belly removed after I lose the weight 🙁

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
