I was sleeved on February 6th. I'm about 7 weeks out and have lost 27 pounds. I have been struggling a little lately with cravings. I gave in a couple times. I feel like I'm not losing the weight like I should be. Does anyone who had the surgery felt this way?

I was also sleeved on the 6th of February. Now that I've gotten the all clear to start introducing a normal diet I find that I have some cravings as well. I haven't given in because those stupid craving got me into this mess of bad health. I've done 7 perfect weeks of doing it all right and I'm not stopping now. You can do this too. Don't feed your head, feed your whole body good things.

I'm down 31 pounds. Doc says we're right on track. Keep up the good work!

Good luck!

Oh my yes! I was feeling the same way, to the point I actually called the dietitianat the doctors office to make sure I have not done anything to my self. She told me that you will do that. She asked me if I measured my self before, of course I forgot to do that. But I did tell her I can tell I have lost a ton of inches. She also asked me what I started (282) at and what I was the day of the surgery(250). She stated that I had lost quite a bit on my own before hand. Which is normal, she told be that it will fluctuate like this for a while, while your body is healing.

Hi, i was sleeved Jan 31, 2017. I feel as you. Total loss 38.4. 14 pre op counted in that . 2 week stall. I eat what i have been told. No more than 600 to 800 cal. I eas told i should be at 900. Trying to eat every 2 to 3 hours. It's got to come off but after surgery i lost more than 1 lb a day. I think our bodys are like "wait a minute you lost alot of weight quickly, so slow down" LOL. Weight loss is a science that our bodies listen to, not us. Lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
