2 Weeks Post Op - Depressed and Hungry!

Recommended Posts

I know that feeling, I'm 12 days post-op and three days ago I was questioning myself, why did I did this? I was more concentrated on my scale than my recovery, feeling frustrated because I haven't lose weight in 4 days, but Believe me, always it's good to talk, I have a angel that always there to help me out when I need it. Now I'm just gonna use the scale once a week, and also gonna focus myself and do this the healthy way. BTW I'm 11lbs down. We can do this.

I can sooooo relate to all this!!! I'm 13 days out and having the hardest time getting any Protein or all my fluids in. Been soooo depressed and doing nothing but sleeping.
Today has been great so for I forced myself to eat some potato Soup today which actually felt great. But the sweet stuff like shakes get me sooo nauseous. However I am still loosing down 20lbs. Just wish I could get it together so I have more energy and feel better.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
