Are you still on blood thinners at this point? And it's only blood, right? No foul-smelling, brown/green/gold/puss-like/etc drainage?

You really need to report it to your doctor. If it's just a little blood and only happened when you washed the area, I'd personally hold off on giving myself any additional doses of blood thinners until I spoke with my doctor first thing in the morning. If it's foul smelling, brown/green/gold/puss-like, OR the bleeding is heavy/continuous, I'd call NOW to report it to the doctor on-call tonight. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Since you were just sleeved, you might be a different case, but at about 6 weeks post-op for me, my belly button starting having a smelly discharge that was mixed with blood. It ended up being an infection (also causing a fever and related symptoms), and I had to take Keflex (an antibiotic) for a week to clear it up. I'd call the doctor to check up on it just to be safe.

Call your Dr. Random people on the internet are not qualified to give you medical advice.

Yes, call your surgeon ASAP. I had an incision get infected and am still dealing with it. The sooner you get help, the quicker you will be well.

If your doctor say it was okay. I would take pictures and document it. If your still concern I would also see a home doctor for a second opinion. Make sure to keep the area clean.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
