I do own a FitBit Blaze and it is awesome. I love the app because it allows you to track your food, Water intake and of course your activity! Before I purchased the Blaze, I had a FitBit Flex as well the Charge.

I have a Fitbit One - I hate wearing anything on my wrist, so I like the clip on aspect of it (I clip it onto my bra). That said, I may upgrade to a Charge, Blaze, or Surge in the future when my physical activity will warrant having a heart rate monitor. But right now I walk, and will probably continue to do so for a few months after surgery, so I'm waiting on that.

I have the Fitbit and love it. Had the surge originally, but upgraded in December to the Blaze. Looks more like a watch, has exercise programs on it as well.

Also in a group that does weekly challenges for steps and also syncs to myfitnesspal as well. I give it

I burned out two FitBit products - something in my skin and them did not agree -- also they really don't like Water -- like don't wash the dishes with one on. I went with a Garmin Vivofit HR. Love it. Had it since July now and not a single problem.

Bought my Fitbit Blaze and love it. I am impressed that since preparing for my VSG next week my heart rate has been dropping steadily. Also love the Water, food, sleep tracking features

I bought a charge HR some time back. Had it on my wrist and my whole arm was in pain. Wasn't too tight or anything. Then I put it on the other wrist, thinking maybe my arm was just upset about something, and that other arm started to hurt too. Then i returned it and did some research. If you've got nerve damage, pain, carpal tunnel....most likely you will have pain. Thousands of others had to return them for the same reasons I had to. Something to do with the darn heart rate monitor. So, I can't have one. I was so bummed out. Hope it works great for you!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
