Had to run in the rain ...

Recommended Posts

I got caught in pouring rain yesterday and had to run to the car. It felt amazing! I was able to do it. It was the first kind of vigorous activity I've done since surgery (RNY 12/8/2016, I think I've been taking it too easy).

Now I feel like I can take on the world and can't wait to get on a treadmill. Gonna wait until I've lost more weight to jog because my knees would hate me if not, but what a motivator it was to get caught in the rain.

For some people rain shrinks them. (As the Witch from Wizard of OZ) I wish It would work for me. . .

Same here with taking it to easy but I want to be completely healed with no set backs. I'm a few days shy of 6 weeks. I went to the pool the other day, finally, and even in the Water I was very careful. It was weird getting in 42 pounds lighter, less fat to float! Good luck on the treadmill.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
