My own view is you could wait until you are maintaining especially as its going to be a big tattoo. You dont have any stats on your profile but if you want to lose a lot of weight it will change your skin and may make the tattoo look odd.

What ar you having done ?

Kate

ps: I am having my first one soon but have waited until I was maintaining and I had finished with my skin surgery. Whohooooo im an old rebel lol

@@mgiii

three years ago,- i was 60 years YOUNG when i had my first tattoo,

i had just achieved GOAL too

hubby wasn't too psyched when i told him about the pending tattoo :(

promised him i wouldn't have another tattoo for the next 60 years !!

above on top of right hand , had the first 3 letters of my grand-kids name

M organ A ndrew E than

marked with a small red heart under each letter!!

in about 6 months i had another small tattoo/medium sized pic of a butterfly

had a small/medium sized picture of a butterfly above my 86 year old mom's right ankle!!

i had another tattoo 5 months later!!!

the word "survivor" concerning my

being a proud cancer survivor

all tatts on rght side - look great

all tattoos spaced nicely in small italic letters, one proportioned below the other!!

once again, i told hubby - no more tattoos - ever!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
