I just had a four ounce filet cooked medium rare, courtesy of yours truly! It took 2 sessions to finish, but it was delicious. No problems! It honestly goes down more easily than chicken.

Is there really any other way to eat it? I mean, why ruin a good steak by over cooking it????

Good to know. I have two more weeks until I can have either, but I really would like a few bites of steak.

No issues with steak. Just can't eat a lot of it. Maybe 3 oz.

Yep. My wife and I have gone to Texas Road House and Long Horn Steak House. I can only have a little bit of the steak but I have no issues with it. I haven't had anything yet that has bothered me. I am almost 14 weeks post op.

I love steak. I have been to Texas Road House. I am currently 4 months post op and steak is one of my go to Protein sources. I may only eat 3 or 4 bites, depending on the cut, but it helps.

Steak, the other white meat. . .

I love it and have had no problems, after the first few months.

I usually eat about 4 to 6 oz. to get my Protein value in for the meal, along with veggie after it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
