1 to 3 months post op, how many calories?

Hello everyone! So, I was told at my 1 month appointment that I have to work a bit harder in getting my Protein up. By doing this I've been increasing my calories.

I'm curious to know how many calories you were all consuming around 1 to 3 months post op.

Thanks!

I'm one month out and get about 600 calories per day on a good day. But, I've been struggling to get in my Protein. The shakes make me sick. The Isopure flavor is overwhelming. I hate the texture of unflavored protein. I tried a Protein Bar and it took me 45 minutes to eat 1/2 of it.

Sigh.

I am a little over nine weeks post op and I usually eat about 800-900 calories, but I do exercise for 30-45 minutes every day. I use the Isopure Protein and I also found it overwhelming at first. I would seriously be gagging every day as I drank it. At my follow up with my doctor, he suggested adding some lemon juice to my Protein shakes to take some of the sweetness out of them and now that's what I do now. I even actually enjoy them now.

I'm at 12 weeks and I average about 800 - 1000 calories a day. On the days I work out I try to get in 90 grams of Protein and they tend to be the days I hit 1000.

Thanks for the lemon juice tip jen - I need something to cut the sweetness of my protein shake - using Bariatric Advantage powder. Sleeved 1/12 and just starting purée. Water and protein counts the focus for now, but interested in calorie goals post op.

I'm six weeks out and I eat about 800 calories daily give or take. I get in over 90 grams of Protein.

Oh thank you all for replying. I'm almost 5 weeks out and I'm at about 500-600 but can't get the minimum Protein with this amount of calories. I've gotten my protein by increasing closer to 750 but was worried I was eating too much. I'm lucky that I've had no issues and anything I eat sits well.
