Ok... so how do others get on when working out how much Protein etc they are eating if you are making up a huge pot of eg spag bolg , Soup or casserole?..

if the ingredients are NOT measured to begin with. How do we know per serve what we are actually getting?...

this has been a question of mine for years lol.

I just guess-timate!...

how do others do it?.

Because I'm cooking for a family with 6 or 7 and me it makes it difficult to measure what the others willl eat.

Some like a shit load more and some like less.

If I was just cooking for me of course I would measure.

I use my fitness pal to track what I eat. They have a recipe section, that you can use to input the food that you make/ by servings. It will then break down the calories and other important facts for you

Is it possible to do a large pot for the family and a small, measured pot separately at the same time? That way you can leave out any carby additions as well as knowing how much of each ingredient you are getting.

Sure, you are in control of what you cook and can do anything you want.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
