Hi guys, I had my sleeve on 12/30/16. Over all I feel pretty awesome. I have been walking a lot. I have lost 13lbs since the surgery but for the past 3 days I've been stuck. Did any body experience such a thing ?! I'm kinda nervous and worried. Up to last week I didn't even get hungry but now I can feel that my appetite is back. I don't know if it's because I'm PMSing or just in my appetite is back in general.

I had my surgery on Dec 5 and just finished my first stall which lasted 2.5 weeks. My appetite has come back some but not anything like what it was before surgery. My doctor suggested taking Gaviscon chewable tablets twice a day in addition to the PPI that he prescribed me as sometimes acid production mimics hunger, you may want to try that, it's over the counter and it has really helped me.

Oh ok, thank you so much for replying. I'm not on any meds. So I'm not even taking PPI but I'll definitely try the Gaviscon. I hope it helps. My appetite is not nearly as bad but I just worried you know

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
