Getting ready for surgery

Went to see my doctor yesterday lost 8 lbs

Surgery date is Jan 24. Go to PreOp appointment on Monday the 16th nervous and anxious at the same time.

At the PreOp class one main question I had put me at ease. The procedure is 2 hours as long there aren't any issues. Which I pray it isn't. Have to put into my mind no matter how sore I am Walk walk walk after surgery. Really worried I have to walk up steps to get to my apartment. Going to look into a recliner so I can be comfortable. Any more advice I need to know would be most appreciated

My surgery date is January 24 as well, two days in Protein clear liquid diet and I'm really struggling! I feel hungry of course and want to eat but mostly I feel sick tired and have an extreme headache for two days now!! Congratulations on your 8 pound loss, i'm scared and nervous as well keep asking myself and my doing the right thing??

I have been on a Protein shake and raw vegetables diet for 2 months I added chicken and fish to my diet and was fine. It's a struggle but you will be fine you can do it

Yeah the recliner helps a lot! Very comfy and easier to get out of than a bed.

Time wise my surgery was 26 minutes long, and I was under total for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

My day is finally here I go in tomorrow for my gastric sleeve nervous yes but looking forward to having a new body
