I love seeing how far people have come even if it's just a few months later. I love knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that everything will eventually work out! I just got sleeved on 12/28!

Hi Shelby!

If you wish to see such pictures, my advice would for you to go on the "Tell your gastric sleeve surgery story", there is a whole topic where people post those, and quite often to be honest :)

How has it been going for you so far? Not too difficult I hope?

Cheers!

Oops, I meant to say "Gastric Sleeve Surgery Success Stories", not quite the same.

I'm not nearly at goal yet .I'm four pounds away.i am going to be more ambitious and am going to try my best to drop another 12-15 pounds.but you can click my profile and see my 9 month 100 pound weight loss pictures. The one thing I want you to keep in mind is most of us really thought it would work for us.We all thought we would be the one that it couldn't work for ...we did it cause we were desperate.Look at us now!

I hugely regret not taking "before" pictures. I was so ashamed of my weight that I probably didn't get a photo taken for years before surgery. They snapped one at my doctors office during my pre op visit (to my horror) but I haven't seen it, they save it for your 1 year follow up to compare. I advise anyone who is getting ready to take a bunch of pictures, I'd love to see them now even though I'm still far from goal.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
