February Sleevers -- Let's Do This Together

  • Popular Post

I of course have many questions and would like for February Sleevers to join together for this adventure and life changing decisions we have made to better our health and lives. I think it would be awesome to find other February Sleevers to share our experiences good and bad.

Starting my liquid diet today. I technically don't have to start until Monday but wanted to start over the weekend in case I have any headaches. I'm a teacher and there's no way I can deal with the kids and a headache!

Good luck everyone starting. I am on my last day in MX and headed home tomorrow. It has been an awesome experience!

Yes ma'am. It is almost worse than labor contractions. I am not trying to scary anyone away. I am very sensitive to medicine therefore, I opted out of the Dilaudid and felt and feel alot of pain. In addition, I am super nauseated and only able to sip a few ounces. Some of this is to be expected and everyone handles pain different so please don't take this the wrong way. I know I did this to better my health! On a good note, I am not hungry ?

I took and am taking my pain meds. I'm a real wimp. If I can avoid pain I do. So I'm a real wimp. I had my surgery 2/9. I took pain medication regularly while in hospital. So I wasn't in pain. But my tummy was and is tender. I was released from hospital yesterday. The nurse recommend having some pain med before leaving. Which I did. I tried not taking any after that. I'm worried about constipation. Was released from hospital around 11:00 by 6 pm I had to take pain med. So my plan is to continue to take it today and try not to take it tomorrow. I was also on anti nausea meds while in hospital and I didn't experience any nausea. If you can tolerate medication I would highly recommend it. Why suffer if you don't have too.
