February Sleevers -- Let's Do This Together

  • Popular Post

I of course have many questions and would like for February Sleevers to join together for this adventure and life changing decisions we have made to better our health and lives. I think it would be awesome to find other February Sleevers to share our experiences good and bad.

Good luck [emoji6] all went fine I'm allowed home tomorrow xx

Hi well surgery is the 17th three more days did pre-op sat in the parking lot and asked myself is this really what you want. And the answer is Yes! I am going in with my eye's wide open I know and except it will be hard. I just want to end the torturous roller coaster of yo yo ing for thirty years. I dream of being healthy and strong!

Good luck the only thing I did wrong is stress to much about it I feel not to bad to be fair the only pain I have is from the gas witch is starting to give up I leave from hospital today and home to start my liquid diet I don't feel hungry I had plenty ov water and a cup ov tea and half a bowl ov soup

I'm 6 days post-op and I will say it was hard but worth it and each day does get better . Wishing everyone success in this process !!!

Just found this site, my surgery is scheduled for Feb 22.

Hi good look hope it all goes well iv just had my gastric sleeve in on Monday now I'm home all went fine not much pain just gas .but to be fair I feel fine

Day Two of Liquid Diet, Surgery the 28th, Family ate normal food tonight, The smell... oh I was so starving so I opted to clean while they ate. Lol I had a Smoothie King Protein Shake that was ok, my premiere shakes are way better, lol and cheaper. The Choc Gladiator with no fruit added is like 180 calories 0 carbs and 1 gram of sugar for 20 oz , FYI if your out and forgot your shake like I did...been off work 6 days, back at it tomorrow, which I am trying to plan ahead, I am a Trauma ICU nurse and coworkers always bring in bad food....[emoji23]

I am also getting sleeved on the 28th, just started liquid diet today. I had to cook for the rest of the family...pure torture! But I am ready, I just planned to cook things they like but I don't hoping that will make it easier. Good luck to you!
