February Sleevers -- Let's Do This Together

  • Popular Post

I of course have many questions and would like for February Sleevers to join together for this adventure and life changing decisions we have made to better our health and lives. I think it would be awesome to find other February Sleevers to share our experiences good and bad.

Hello all, well my surgeon recommended that I lose 8lbs before my sugery Feb 8th. Today is day 7 since seeing him and I am down 7.5lbs. I am super excited!!! The headaches, foggy thinking, irritability, and cravings are diminishing, FINALLY!!! I hope all is well with everyone. We Got This...We deserve a good, happy, healthy life! We are going to make it! Have an Awesome Day!

I wonder why your page says NO slim fast or ensure? Hmmm? So I had to buy food from my Dr's office and a majority of it is disgusting. I've been kinda cheating and drinking an Ensure for Breakfast or lunch the last few days because I just can't tolerate that gross food 3 meals a day. I have researched other diets online and none are as restrictive as the ones they're giving us

I'm pretty sure Ensure has sugar in it, doesn't it? And the point of the pre-op diet is to burn through your glycogen stores so that you start burning the fat on your liver instead (which your body won't do in the presence of sugar).

It has 4g of sugar but the box of food I get from them some of those have 3 & 4g of sugar as well.

Hello!! I'm a band to sleeve revision on Feb 2nd, I'm excited to be able to at least enjoy food again, of course the proper food without my band issues!! Excited to find the me that's inside here somewhere!!

I'm also a revision. My surgeon wouldn't do it in one step so I have the final part of the revision on Monday. I'm nervous and excited. I did great with the band for a while but then I started having some bad problems and in the end it had to come out. I'm ready for the next move though!
