  6. I received IV fluids at home for 2 weeks because I couldn't keep anything down. My first month after surgery was rough. I am over 2 months out now and feeling great so it does get better. Hope you feel better soon.
  7. I am just over 5 weeks post op, the first 3-4 weeks were miserable. Nauseated all the time, had to be put on IV fluids for 3 days twice. Then it just started getting better. I still deal with occasional nausea but have meds for that. Just hang in there it does get better.
  8. I am 5 weeks out, I really don't feel hungry but I know I need to eat because my stomach kinda hurts and drinking fluids doesn't make it go away.
  9. Was sleeved 2/13, so a little over 3 weeks out. It has been a rough 3 weeks. Dealing with dehydration and nausea but the last 2 days seem like a turning point as I am able to get in enough fluids. It's been tough but don't regret it. Down 28 lbs. Will continue to take it one day at a time.
  10. I was sleeved on February 13 and I woke up with a drain. My doctor put one in because one of the staple layers misfired and he had to sew that part of my stomach closed. It was a precaution to make sure I had no leaks. So there are multiple reasons one could end up with a drain.
