2 week liquid diet

Recommended Posts

I'm scheduled for gastric sleeve December 27th. I'm on my two week liquid diet. My stats are 5'5 240. This two week diet is so awful . Please help how do you get threw this? I've cheated some. I'm really starting to wonder if I should do this cause I still want to enjoy food. Any help is appreciated.?

My surgery is on the 27th. Mentally it's hard but now I'm struggling just to eat or drink I should say. I have the worst upset stomach ever. I can't stop using the bathroom. I had to look up other people liquid diets to see what they were doing and theirs is nothing like mine. Im told I'll get lol the Protein I need from broth but I can't even stomach it. I had to start adding a Protein Shake in the am. I am down about 7lbs after 4 days though

Thanks everyone I know what you mean. I'm on a very strict 2 week diet. Of broth, juice, sugar free Jello and sugar free Popsicles. Also 3 10 grams of Protein. I've lost 7 lbs. It makes me wonder how much you should lose during this. I've been getting headaches and I pee every ten minutes I sware! Thanks again

I made a low fat, low sodium chicken broth from roasting a chicken and froze it. I add plain Isopure Protein Powder to the hot broth. I have some bariatric Soup, too. It's okay in a pinch.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
