No. Almost all doctors get sued.

Nope. Lawsuits and surgeons go hand in hand.

Now if it was many times? Yeah, I'd worry a little.

Nah, doctors get sued all the time. If she has a lot of suits, then, like Babbs said, maybe be concerned, but it is very difficult to entirely avoid being sued as a doctor, especially as a surgeon. Doctors are also easy targets because their insurance almost always settles claims out of court, which keeps the claim usually sealed, but also works out to people knowing they can make a few $ in civil court without a whole lot of actual basis for the claim.

Nope, my surgeon has a supposed lawsuit by someone who is on here. But I have met way too many people including some of his staff that had him do their surgery. He and his partner did mine and I had no problems. I felt good enough to go back to work by day 4. So no, if it isn't many I wouldn't worry.

I just read my doctor is being sued. I am 1 week out from my surgery. She has done many surgeries with no issues and is at an approved Bariatric practice. Would you be worried?

If he is allowed to continue practicing, i wouldn't be too concerned. Doctors get sued all the time. That is why their malpractice insurance cost most than some people make a year!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
