Don't - it is disgusting, and not a good source of Protein. It tastes like hay, or dirt, or something. It's absolutely disgusting, and I still have a package in my kitchen. It's also collagen protein which isn't like animal or whey protein. Save your money in my opinion.

What @@rolosmom7 said. It's not the good sort of Protein and besides your body can only process about 30 g of Protein at a time so the 42 though it sounds awesome really isn't benefiting your body as much as you would think it is. I say stick with the Protein shakes ( i personally love Premier Protein) and get some good flavorless Protein powder and add it to everything you can. Good luck!!

I bought a variety pack, thinking that the low volume/high Protein may help during my first week or two post op. I tried the orange earlier this week and IT TASTES TERRIBLE. I've tried a lot of Proteins over the last 2 years and this is easily the worst ever.

I'm not concerned that it's over 30g because I will only be drinking it if I can't get down more than a few sips at a time, so it'll be spread out. Also my NUT said that I can use non-optimal Proteins (like pea proteins or collegean) as long as I only have one a day, and have some whey Protein during that same day to make sure I get the micronutrients.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
