I add Protein Powder that I like to skim milk and add fage Greek yogurt o er fourth grams there, fish, Beans and cheese, o add yogurt to blended low fat Soups and it's yummy, seafood is high Protein and legume as well as turkey...turkey and Bean chill makes double protein plus gave yogurt on place of sour cream. Never tried them but there are protein puddings and depending on phase, bars.

I eat tuna Creations. It's a pouch of Tuna. The Lemon Pepper Flavor is 80 calories and 18 grams of Protein. In the evening I eat a couple of ounces of salmon--also high protein. Add a greek yogurt in and an 8 oz bottle of clear Isopure Protein Drink and I have no problem meeting the protein goals.

Baked fish (seafood in general), cheese, hummus, greek yogurt, chia seeds. I often have a steamed artichoke for a snack/meal, and for a vegetable is has a nice size amount of Protein (~5g).

Deli meats, dark meat poultry and seafood are usually well tolerated early on, soft cheeses, greek yogurt, SF pudding made with greek yogurt and/or Protein powder, try alternate Protein drinks (I was never impressed with RTD drinks and found that I could do a better job of adapting the flavor with the powders and other added flavors to taste.

I wouldn't be overly dependent upon that GENEPRO stuff as the main thing it can be guaranteed to produce is expensive urine. While they may not have been shut down as a fraud yet, it sure checks all the boxes of a typical nutritional supplement scam (too good to be true - 30g Protein in only 15g of product, just what is "equivalent" protein?, proprietary product - nobody knows what it really is and they aren't telling, no independent verification of their claims...)

I have to say, I was a GENEPRO skeptic but I've only been using this for 2 months because I cannot tolerate others. Had blood work today and Protein level is perfect. So, I shall continue

how do you guys make like genpro drinks and stuff?? I have stuff at home but the instructions vary. I hate smoothies/frozen concoctions, the Peanut Butter stuff was heinous, Premiere tastes so gross to me - the artificial sweetener punches me in the face with every sip. I haven't met my Protein goals in 5 days now because I'm so done with all of it. I've been buy and trying one protein mix after another, over $300 worth, with not one thing tasting good. This part is so hard I now think I've made a huge mistake because I'm going to lose all my hair, I'm never meeting my goals, I have to work full time and can't drink non-stop. Everything is so sickeningly sweet, ugh. I'm trying not to lose hope.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
