Wore clothes. Also made sure I went to a bathroom first, if I was busting after a car trip.

The only thing I took off were my shoes.

I forgot to add that I live in a very warm climate, so my thin top and skirt don't add much extra weight.

My bariatric practice routinely deducts two pounds for clothes and shoes. I just write whatever their scale says on my pad. It occurred to me long ago that, when you're talking about losing 100 lbs, a couple mean nothing. For the same reason I long ago stopped messing with tenths of pounds. I round up or down to the nearest whole number just as I learned in school.

I guess i should have said it better haha... So when you go in for a pre op weigh in to get approved do they let you keep your clothes on or make you wear a gown??

Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App

When I went in for my pre op weigh in for approval, I had to remove my shoes and empty my pockets. I haven't heard of anyone having to wear a gown for their weigh in.

I left on my clothes and shoes. I was right at BMI 40, the surgeon WANTS insurance to pay so they don't force you to strip (at least mine didn't)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
